Rancho Savegre is owned and operated by Diego Solis, a Costa Rican Businessman, Horseman and Nature lover. He has a background in economics but  decided that  ecotourism and horses gave him the opportunity to enjoy what he loves.  Diego is usually the tour guide and is careful with every detail of your tour. He and his horsebackriding events (not Just a tour) have been mentioned in several magazines during the last 12 years because of their quality and uniqueness.  Diego has also trained horses for the National Iberoamerican Breed Horse Cup, as well as led horseback riding events all over Costa Rica.  He now also breeds and trains criollo (Costa Rican Breed) horses for his tours and for his friends.
